Facepaint at the ready

A lot of my local shops are in full Halloween mode with skeletons and black cats slung at you anywhere from the butcher to the furniture shop.
To get into the Halloween spirit myself I had a little Google search on Halloween makeup and there is some great stuff out there.
Have a look at these Ray Lichtenstein inspirit models, amazing! (for those of you who don't know who Lichtenstein is Wiki this amazing American pop artist now, that's an order!)
These shots arnt new and you might have seen them before but I think dressing up as an iconic painting is a great thing to do.

Number five

If you ask somebody to name a perfume there is a big change the first they come up with is Chanel Nº5. This perfume is truly iconic and the first fragrance to come out of a fashion house, a very common fact now a days but a first in 1921. From the early beginnings Nº5 has always been ground breaking, did you for example know a Nº5 add was the first perfume advertising to be shown in the Superbowl add break? It was the first perfume to be packaged in a simple glass flacon, and now for the first time a men has been chosen to represent this most feminine off all fragrances, this man is Brad Pitt.
The add campaign will be published later this month, but for a little history lesson have a look at this amazing Nº5 video

Fruity and clean

I like to keep everything clean and tidy when I work and hand sanitizers are a great part of keeping everything bacteria free, especially when I have to work with mini models and their snotty noses ;)

The only down fall of an anti bacterial hand gel is that you end up smelling like a hospital, that was until my lovely assistant C showed me the hand sanitizers from the Bodyshop, they smell of yummy fruits! These 60 ml bottles are small enough to have in your handbag for everyday sticky hand emergency's and a must in my makeup case. The antibacterial gel comes in strawberry, coconut, satsuma, mango, lemon and pink grapefruit fragrance. I am slightly obsessed with the coconut one at the moment, I think I'm trying to hang on to the last rays of summer ;)
And for only £2 a pop you will never have hospital smelling hands again.
