A lot of hard work and long hours deserves some fun!

Backstage day 2

A day of beauty shots on the beach and the castle ruins.

For a beautiful instant healthy glow use Guerlains
Huile de voyageur nourishing dry oil.
It gives you a beautiful soft bronzed look you can use all year round, perfect to  fresh up your tan.

For this shoot I also used the golden bronzing powder of Helena Rubenstein that gives you a very natural sun kissed look.

Even now autumn is approaching is nice to keep some bronzing products in your beauty regime. Why not use your bronzer as a blush to create a very on trend '70s look.

New agency

I have a new agent in the Netherlands!
After a couple of years with only having representation in the Uk and in Germany I really wanted an agency on home turf again. Luckily for me there is an amazing new agency in Amsterdam that liked my work and has me on their books now. Please have a look at their website

Tomorrow I'm off to Turkey with a bag packed with the latest beauty products to create the new winter 2010 and summer2011 looks, cant wait! I will try to upload some pictures during the week.

They are from paperself, arn't they amazing.
 And guess what... they are also in my bag ready to be photographed.

Tassle know how

My mum let me borrow this beautiful satchel bag (her first work bag).

The tanned leather is gorgeous but I wanted to give the bag a little bit extra.

The nomad, traveller look is still very much on trend so I decided to make a tassel.

The other tassel you see is made by sewing a couple of pompon's together

and adding a few beads.

Busy Busy Bee

Next week I'm of to Turkey for a fashion shoot. Every year I go there with a Dutch team of photographer, stylist en models to capture the latest fashion and beauty trends.Before we leave I have to do all the pre work, getting all the trends together for winter 2010 and spring 2011, working out wich would work nice in our setting, casting models, getting locations etc. etc. Doing all this takes a lot of work! See here the state of my workplace. 

After I get all the trends, location etc. together I work out storyboards,see here a compilation of the 4 stories we are going to shoot.           

These are some of our locations. I'm going to have the shoot filmed as well so stay tuned the next couple of weeks for behind the scenes footage!

Best present ever!!

Last week my friend Jildou gave me the best present ever.
We know each other for 15years this week and she filled this whole notebook with memories, jokes, pictures, envelopes to open on a rainy day and lots more!
Nice idea if you want to give a personal gift.
I saved mine to read on the plane back home, best trip ever!! Thanks Jildou
